When Tommy Bonner started roofing when he was 16 years old, little did he think he’d be owning and running his own roofing company with his partner and wife, Katelyn right by his side. You might say they’re pursuing the American dream and according to their customers, they’re doing a great job at it. KAT stands for Knowledgeable, Accurate, and Trusted which are our core values, but also stands for Katelyn and Tommy.
As a teenager, Tommy apprenticed with his uncle who owned a roofing business in Chicago. There’s an advantage to being a 2nd generation roofing pro who’s used to working on properties here in The Windy City. KAT Exteriors has learned what stands up to Lake Michigan’s harsh winter weather and what doesn’t.
